Tech Lockdown provides companion software for Cloudflare WARP on Windows PCs to ensure that the program is not uninstalled or disabled. This is helpful for preventing the Cloudflare WARP application from being bypassed so that your Mac computer stays connected to your Content Policy.
The Tech Lockdown dashboard includes a wizard that helps walk you through the process of installing the Windows Enforcer Tool.
Once installed, the Windows Enforcer Tool automatically checks your system for the Cloudflare WARP application. It does two main things:
- First, it removes the ability to uninstall the Cloudflare WARP application, without affecting the ability to remove other applications.
- Next, it detects whether the WARP application is running correctly on your system, restarting it if necessary.
Installing the Enforcer Tool
The Windows Enforcer Tool can be found on the Tech Lockdown dashboard by going to Tools > Windows.
- Open the folder where you downloaded the tool
- Double-click on the installer
- When prompted, click Yes
It should not be possible to uninstall the Enforcer Tool. To confirm, open the Start menu and search for Add or Remove programs. The option to uninstall the Enforcer Tool should be grayed out. You will need to use the uninstall instructions to remove it later.
Uninstalling the Enforcer Tool
To uninstall the Enforcer Tool, you will need to download the Removable version. Access this from the Tech Lockdown dashboard by going to Tools > Windows > Enforcer.

Limiting Access to the Remover tool
If you're self-managing, the Tech Lockdown dashboard has the ability to lock access to the Unlock script.
To do this, make sure to Lock your Profile. You will need to unlock your profile later to access the unlock script.
