LivingRoom is a separate monitoring app that can capture screenshots on an iPhone or iPad. That means it can capture activity that most other parental control and accountability apps can't.
LivingRoom is the ideal solution if you're setting up accountability for an adult or child, especially if you'd like to:
- Monitor social media apps, like Instagram, Snapchat, Discord, etc
- Visually see how apps and websites are being used on an iPhone
- Require screenshots to use the iPhone, with assurance that the screenshots can't be disabled or bypassed
- Automatically block the internet if nudity is detected anywhere on the screen
Normally, LivingRoom requires a special setup with Apple Family Sharing to set up a child's iPhone, but this doesn't work on an adult's iPhone. Instead, adults need to use supervised mode, because LivingRoom requires more access to an iPhone than is traditionally possible with a regular app downloaded from the App Store.
Tech Lockdown provides a native integration for supervised iPhones and iPads, so if you've already used Tech Lockdown to supervise (or remotely supervise) your device, you can also enforce LivingRoom using the Config Generator.
In fact, we strongly recommend that you don't go through LivingRoom to set up supervised mode, because this might actually interfere with setup through Tech Lockdown!
