If you need to unsupervise your iPhone, you will need to work with support to access the required tools. Support will work with you to determine if your iPhone needs additional steps.
- Contact support and create a ticket
Provide Information To Support...
Some information will be good to give support to assist you more quickly:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. This screen will show you all config files that have been installed; you can remove them using our dashboard if you need to disable restrictions on your iPhone.
- Check if your profile is locked; your profile may need to be unlocked to remove restrictions from your iPhone.
Unsupervision Tool
Support will show you how to download our tool to unsupervise your iPhone. This tool works in the same way as the original Supervision tool.
Follow these instructions to use the tool:
- On your iPhone, ensure that Find My is disabled.
- Download the tool on your Mac or Windows computer.
If you have a Mac computer...
- Double-click the file to unpack it.
See Supervision Tool Not Opening When Double-Clicked if you're running into trouble unzipping the file. Instructions also apply to the unsupervisor tool.
- Double-click the unzipped file to open the application.
- Follow the instructions to unsupervise your iPhone.
If you have a Windows computer...
Note: If you have a Windows computer, please also download iTunes. The tool will not work otherwise.
- Ensure that you open iTunes and accept the EULA
- Run the application from your downloads folder
- Follow the instructions to unsupervise your iPhone.
